Red Carpet Diaries by Steven Cojocaru
reviewed by Lola Sparks

The first time I saw Cojocaru on the Today Show, I paused. The straight-laced, bubble-gum goodness of the Today Show had someone...electric...like Cojocaru? I was instantly intrigued. Here was someone to muss up the ever so tidy Couric and Lauer. Here was someone to make me laugh in the morning.

Red Carpet Diaries: Confessions of a Glamour Boy is a fun book, which some of the reviewers over at Amazon just don't seem to get! If you're curious about Cojocaru and how he came to rub shoulders with the beautiful and famous, you'll want to read it. I devoured this book over a weekend, so addictive is the ride. Who used Cojocaru for an ashtray? Who are his parents, really? Is he the love child of Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler?

Cojocaru spares no one in the book, not even himself. His sense of humor is marevelous, especially as he admits to his own fashion shortcomings. "I thought then that my coat was rock-star wild, but now it looks like a giant bath mat that would fit beautifully in my mom's powder room." Hee!

If you're looking for a quick, fun read, this is the book for you.
